Security Lunch & Learn Series: 7-Steps To Proactively Protect Yourself Against A Home Invasion

The news media is bringing us pretty grim stories almost daily about the violent home invasions that are happening all  across our country.  I have been collecting these stories since our company is hosting a Security Lunch & Learn Series entitled "7-Steps To Proactively Protect Yourself Against A Home Invasion."  As I review this information one thing seems to stand out the most — and that is people have become complacent about their overall security and probably need to review simple common sense procedures that will ensure they don’t become a home invasion victim.  When a perpetrator can bust right through your front door — you have not done the best job of securing your home and keeping your family safe.

Homeowners need to be better educated in the best options available to protect their home.  Just having a home security system is not going to give you the most complete protection…you need more.  By the time someone has kicked in your front door at 3:00 a.m., it may be virtually impossible for you or your alarm company to respond before the perpetrators have violently attacked you and your family.  In our program we discuss how to strategically design your home protection so you are in control and not the perpetrators.

By being proactive in your security protection you are less likely to become a victim of a home invasion or home burglary crime…..and you will know well ahead of time if and when you have "unwanted visitors" on your property.  Then you have the ability to react and respond accordingly.
